Don't buy this if you care about the resale value of your car! This will destroy your dashboard.

Yes, they stick. Yes they store things. Mine were black as pictured. Not clear; not translucent. Wait until you take it off in three months. CRATERS all over the plastic dashboard! Alcohol - no. Gu-gone-no This seller speaks without a trace. WRONG ANSWER! It's hard to tell if they're leftovers or if they've destroyed the plasticizers. Look at the photos. Three months in the sun.

Maybe too sticky?

First, they're sticky. Whatever you put on, it won't slip or slip off. However, this also has a downside: whatever you put on it will also pull up the cushion when you pick up the device. I turned them over to see if one side was stickier than the other, no luck. a bit bland in the summer heat but when it's 115 it's not. This can only be a Phoenix problem.

non-slip but not as sticky as some.

Contrary to some of the other commenters, I found these pads good for "non-slip" applications but not sticky enough to stick anything to the wall or anything else. than a 45 degree incline. I wanted to use them to attach my phone to the battery but the stick isn't strong enough to hold the two pieces together. Other spacers previously purchased had no problem holding them together. And yes I tried all 4 pads, washed/dried, but they still don't stick.

Not very sticky after the first few uses

Not very sticky after the first few uses. I've had several of these guys, this one is a little flimsy and after 2-3 uses the glue doesn't work as well. While you can rinse them with water to refill the glue, you don't have to be as quick. You must be able to use them for at least a few weeks before this happens. Update: I think they're terrible in general. I had another version of this that worked much better. I think what annoys me the most is the fact that after a few uses, not only does it…
