I have this clamp and also several Manfrotto Super clamps. This clamp is good enough 99% of the time. I can really see the difference in quality between the two, Manfrotto is better in almost every way. Manfrotto clamps are what I use to mount my expensive flash heads or heavier modifiers, I trust them more, it's that simple. But for almost everything else, I'd love to use these soda clips. They are good enough but not as good as the Manfrotto clamps.

Durable clip. Although I've seen some reviews pointing to breakage, this clip seems solid and durable. I clamped it over my workbench at 2" x 6" (true width 1 3/4") and was unable to make full face clamp contact with the beam due to an obstruction on the beam (smaller jaw at 3/4 depth against the tree .)
