I mainly use them for witch hazel. Sometimes I use both sides of the pad, but I usually use one side and throw them away because they're pretty flimsy. I've used it with other toners/liquids as well. My sister uses craft pads a lot and I've also used them with nail polish remover on my fingers and toes. For our purposes, they work very well! And I like that it lasts at least 6 months at home, so I don't keep buying individual packs. good price too.
