It’s ultralight and high strength. A 100’ length weighs only 1.4 oz. and it has a breaking strength of 130 pounds. Made of Ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene (HMWPE) a material that’s commonly used to make body armor, bowstrings, climbing equipment, and for many more critical applications. It’s Extremely Low Stretch, so you won’t need to constantly adjust it, it stays where you put it, unlike nylon cordage, that stretches under tension. It’s super reflective and highly visible, so you can avoid tripping over your guy lines at the campsite. It’s Compact: With a diameter of only 1.5 millimeters, you can remove some from the spool and keep it with your hiking gear or everyday carry kit. It will only take up only a tiny amount of space.
