Works amazingly well. FYI all batteries make it heavy, command bars don't work. I use it on the ceiling in the hallway of an apartment. Works well enough I can see the difference between all my black gloves and winter gear.

This light replaces one that was fitted to a cabinet without a light 5 years ago. It emits significantly more light than the old version. It's relatively easy to install. The motion detection works very well. It's worth the expense and hassle of adding it in a small area with insufficient lighting.

I personally love these lights! I buy a lot of these for different things around the house. I used these for my dressing room which has no light. Pros: The light is bright and soft on the eyes. Battery powered. Batteries drain quickly when there is a lot of activity.

poorly made. "D" size batteries don't fit properly, they fall out because the compartment is too small. And the light sensor does not work as advertised. It must remain on when there is motion. It is not. I have to close the sensor for it to turn on. I should have sent it back but I waited too long.

I bought this for my 91 year old father. There's a dark hallway he walks down to get to his back door. He would often trip or hit the wall before I installed the light. Now when he enters the hallway, the light will come on and stay on until he reaches the end of the hallway and the back door. It also works if he enters through the back door and walks down the hall to get to the kitchen. I really absolutely PERFECT. I'm so glad I found this gem.

I tried some battery powered LED lights at the top of my basement stairs because it's just a dark corner. I'd like to use the three I bought previously which were useless as they gave very little light even in that dark corner but I digress. Do yourself a favor, if you have a spot that needs enough light somewhere in your house to not break your neck in the dark, just buy these first and skip the other battery powered LEDs.
