I really wanted to like this product but sent it back. Originally I wanted to extend my desktop to an external monitor. The option of connecting an external monitor can be described as sketchy at best. I had to turn it off and on again all day. Great for travel, gives me some port usage and I can easily carry it. I recommend it. Be careful if you choose to use a protective plastic case as this will make the ports inaccessible.

I love my LINKUP. Easily adding storage and extra USB ports is exactly what I was looking for. As easy as it looks, just plug and play. The only issue I have is that my surface recognizes the additional storage when I already have external storage attached. I think the problem is with my other memory rather than the adapter.

I want my money back. Was so excited when I saw this for the first time. Yes it did and it worked for a while. But at the beginning it got very hot, but I didn't do anything wrong. Then I saw that the "Link Up" logo on it started to disappear. So I didn't use it that often. Then I started getting weird color bars on my external monitor, but not as often. This was a great adapter for my Surface Pro. This allows me to watch a movie from my portable hard drive on a large TV via an HDMI cable while working with a mouse and charging my phone at the same time. Excellent investment!
