Works well, heats up, all cables are there, rubber "screw " is a little hard to press

I bought this to fit two Samsung 970 EVO Plus SSD 2TB - M .2 NVMe drives on two different computers with Windows 10 partitions using dd on a Linux USB stick and then GParted to reorganize the drive. Did everything perfectly and now I have loads of space on my boot drives (so handy!) The rubber "screw" was a little hard to push through so I just closed the case (the case is thin enough to placing it at the correct angle ) and handling it carefully as the data carriers would not be there…

Very good adapter for cloning.

I have read and researched a lot about this type of adapters. Yes, it gets a little warm, but that's not a problem. This is a tool-less adapter that comes with USB-A to USB-C and USB-C to USB-C cables. It is for M M.2 type drives and I personally used it on a 2TB Samsung Evo and it took exactly 45 minutes to transfer 500GB (OS, programs and saved data) to this drive using the Partition Wizard mini tool to copy. Write speed ONLY 39MB/s

I was hoping this case would work but very poorly. I have an inland 512GB m.2 nvme that reads 2900MB/s and writes over 2300MB/s on my motherboard so my SSD is fine. but when I install it in this case I get 42MB/s read and 39MB/s write. which is well below the advertised read and write speeds of 1000MB/s. I've used pretty much every USB c 3.1 Gen 2 cable I have, but the speed has never exceeded 40MB/s. Definitely failing their quality control. Because some reviewers got advertised speeds.

Simplicity for computers and accessories

Works great and loads very quickly. There's no software to install, or just plug the drive into a USB outlet and you're good to go. I thought I would lose all my data but that's all a problem. Thanks very much!

Know how to initialize your drive

When I found out that you need to initialize a new hard drive, everything went fine. I have this 1T M.2 SSD enclosure and it worked amazing. It's also very fast, I was able to back up the entire contents of both my laptops in less than 30 minutes. It was probably around 200GB, so I was very pleased with how quickly everything went. It's going to be hot, but I assume it's the same for every drive and every case. The design is chic and I am very satisfied with this product.
