🌿 Acacia Wood Swivel Cover Salt or Spice Box, 3-1/2'' x 2-1/2'' by Lipper International Review

The description of this item is incorrect. I received not one, but two WRONG items. The item I received has two compartments instead of one. Two compartments are useless. They always end up getting mixed up and it's much harder to get what you want.

If you buy cheaper than this is not the one in the picture. It has a divider in the middle to store two different things. That being said, for the price it seems well made and attractive, but it's not what I thought I'd order. Not the end of the world, but I'll have a hard time sticking my fingers in the compartments when the salt falls.

The box has a nice color and contains a lot of salt. However, I am unhappy that the magnet at the bottom of the box fell out and was lost. The box was never dropped or suffered any other blunt trauma that would knock the magnet out. He must have just been sitting loose in the pit. The lid no longer closes securely. The box was only used for a month.

Bought this for pepper as I loved one I bought for salt about a year ago. Makes accessing and measuring anything from a pinch to a tablespoon much easier than using a coffee grinder. My salt can is lighter and taller than this one, and it's specially chosen to make it easier for me to tell which spice I want. Easy to open/close and the magnet for a secure hold works well. 4 stars because the finish is a little smudged on top, but I figured that would still be the case with daily use 😆

This is a fantastic salt shaker. My wife and I were moving into a smaller house with a small kitchen and needed to save space wherever possible. This salt shaker was the perfect addition to our kitchen. Durable and well-made, it contains just enough salt so it doesn't need to be constantly refilled. The magnet that snaps in from the top works very well. This is a fantastic product that I would buy again and highly recommend. I also recommend it to any food lover as a gift! I hope this review…

Bought for the cooker for a last minute addition of Maldon salt to food and use at the table. It matches the color of the photo and the twist lock works well. There was some "concern" that people at the table pinching salt might transmit germs, but I've read that salt and pepper shakers are far more likely to transmit germs than a pinch of salt from that type of cellar. When cooking I would not have raw poultry, fish, meat, anything on my hands and then a pinch of salt, I would use clean hands.

I had a similar bamboo salt shaker, but a guest in my kitchen couldn't figure out how to remove the lid and tried to take it off vertically before I realized what he was doing; After that, the lid kept swaying. I'm moving so thought it would be a good time to replace it. I chose it for the rich look of acacia wood. It's slightly smaller than the one it replaces, but still large enough that it doesn't need to be refilled often. I'm happy enough with it not to return it but a bit disappointed…
