Drive pins are required to replace Germam car tires

Quality drive pin comes with threaded end guard. A must when changing tires (especially without a helper) for most German cars. Bought two to have one in each car. Note. First check if your vehicle uses a 12mm or 14mm grub screw to order the correct size.

Pros
  • Brilliantly made
Cons
  • Disappears

If you're planning a tire change for a BMW, you need it.

For some reason European vehicles use screws instead of bolts and nuts to attach wheels. There is no clear technical advantage, there is one major disadvantage; Installing the wheel is tricky as it doesn't hold anything, making it a two person job. That's what it's for; It screws in place of a single screw, allowing the wheel to hang from it when removed or reinstalled. Cons
  • Socket Required
