Good for removal, bad for installation.

Haven't used this to remove window lever clips yet but I think it will work fine. Installation doesn't go well: The installation end of the tool doesn't hold the clip securely so it always falls out unless you use some kind of glue to hold it in place. and it doesn't allow you to fully install the clip. I was only able to get the clip halfway into its slot because once it's in the tool you can't push it any further. My technique may be imperfect, but I doubt it.

Works on most cars of this era. Not mine.

Worked great after I modified it. The sides of the blade curve upwards. I assume this is for centering the window or door handle during the disassembly process. In my case, I'm working on a 1960 Mercury. The base of the handles is too wide to fit in the instrument. As a result, the blade is almost 1/8 inch from the clip you are trying to remove. 20 Minutes Frustration Saved

It's amazing how a small clip can cause so much frustration. He got off pretty easily with the help of a tissue, but putting the pen back on was an absolute agony. However, we saw this tool and took a chance. I put the clip on the short end into the slot and lo and behold, it clicked into place with little effort and our Geo Metro window handle worked again. The instrument itself is surprisingly large. Much longer than expected. Well built and manufactured in the United States. The back of the…

Awesome window and door clip remover

I used this window clip remover to remove and replace the window door handle on my Toyota Corolla. The handle of the window door is broken. I asked some auto mechanics if they could fix it but they just grumbled and didn't trust me that they could fix it. Luckily I found a parts store and got the exact color and model of the window handle. I bought another window clip puller from another seller but this Lisle 18600 was cheaper. In use it turned out to be the best I've found. This helps with…
