This is a great adapter for compression and leak testing 4-stroke trim engines. I use an adapter for this. I'm sure there are many other engines that the adapter will work on. I have been using Lisle Tools for many years. So far, so good.

thought i need this tool for honda xr650l to check engine compression. It screws onto the end of my compression gauge hose. It worked, but the front exhaust valve has an automatic decompression device on the cam. So what I assumed was a leaking exhaust valve had to be leaking to start the engine. As soon as it starts and reaches a certain speed, the decompression devices take effect. This melted the piston, which led to heavy exhaust smoke.
