When installed as per the User Manual, this LED safe lighting set will start to work automatically when you open the door of your gun safe/locker/closet and stop working automatically when you close the door. Easy to Install. The 90-degree-backing design, door-control switch with separate sensor and various mounting hardware included make it easy to work out the best layout and install those 12” LED light bars along the inside corners of your gun safe/locker/closet/cabinets/pantry/hutch. Slim Low Profile Design. Very slim cables and plug-in connectors. The LED light bars themselves are only 0.4” x 0.4”. It’s easy to hide them inside corners of your gun safe/locker/closet/cabinets to make them invisible. DIY & Extendable Design. 2-way splitter, extension cables included for different layouts. 2 pcs extra add-on 12” LED light bars can be added into this safe lighting kit. Bright Light with Electrical Power. Compared with those battery-powered lights, this safe LED lighting kit is much more bright (215 lumen/12”)and it will be a permanent installation without any worry about changing batteries.

Almost everything I could ask for!

I installed these in my gun closet. The moment that I open the door the lights come on it’s pretty awesome! I love it you don’t have to worry about a switch and you just open the door and it turns on. I also love that it fades on. I was able to sneak these little strips behind a tool bracket rack and over top of the door frame. He almost can’t tell where the light is coming from. It’s amazing! Highly recommended.

So much better than battery versions

I purchased this to replace a battery operated light with RF remote for my gun/ammo cabinet. The battery operated version chewed up AA batteries 8 at a time and FAST! On to these lights: They are very bright and come with all kinds of options for mounting and cable management. Double sided tape, metal screw down clips, velcro options all included for mounting. There is plenty of wire extensions to place the 6 lights around the perimeter evenly spaced in a 5' tall cabinet. They only issue i had…

Easy to install, lots of options

I was not sure what to expect, but it was very easy to install. I used the screw mounts for the side lights and tape it mount the top lights. The added wire management tie downs were great for cleaning up the cables.The only issue I had was finding a place to mount the sensor.

Great lighting kit!

Great kit, comes with 3 different installation options. It is a little tedious to install with the double-sided adhesive strips, the white backer comes off easily but the red backer is not as easy to get off. I am very happy with the final installation which took over an hour to complete. It would be much easier if starting with an empty safe.

Very nice! best in my review

This is a very nice light set. Simple and easy to install. It has a good brightness and color tone. I’ll be getting another set for my other safe. Would definitely recommend! And no I haven’t shot my eye out with the BB! lol

Perfect for my cabinets

I wanted my cabinets to light up when I open them. I saw Ikea cabinets that had a lighting system and I wanted the same function but at a better price point. This fit the bill. I’m very happy with the quality and it was easy for me to figure out.

Easy to Wire, Provides Light In All Corners

Impressive light set for my gun safe. It provides strong, bright lighting to every corner so it I can see everything easily. It also included plenty of wiring so I had options on how to configure the lighting and will work for multiple dimensions. It was easy to wire and works well.*** Helpful? Perfect fit a safe.

Easy instructions. Multiple ways to mount (velcro, tape, screws). I ordered 2 additional lights to illuminate the entire safe.
