Litex PB42SN5C PRESCOTT 42 Inch Ceiling Review

I literally had to get an extra fan just to get the parts to get the job done. I had to return it. Definitely not worth the money.

Great fan for little space! I installed this fan in my 14x14 office that had exposed rafters that limited the size of fan I could install. it is very stylish and works great. Enough speed to work well indoors. It is very well balanced and has no vibration or lag at any speed. Easy to install for a person with a basic knowledge.

I really wanted to like this fan for its style and size. Unfortunately only problems. The fan itself makes a very loud and rhythmic noise when switched on, especially at low speeds. Worse, the bulbs in the lighting kit get so hot that the kit gives off a burning smell and within an hour there is visible black charring from the intense heat on the sockets. The fan was of course removed for safety and functional reasons.

Bought two of these for different rooms. Luckily I can fix things. I installed the first one after struggling with the "too short" wires on the light kit. After installing the ceiling it didn't work until I took it apart and connected the factory wiring connections with nuts. Reinstalled to find it worked well but took a long time to balance the blades. Then I installed a second fan in another room. Everything was different; All cables were fine, installation was easy, no wobble issues…
