My 18 month old grandson LOVES this! I also bought "my first basketball book" (along with the baseball, football, and soccer books) and he learned a lot of the words that go with it. Our 2 year old son loves it! It is very easy to assemble. For those having trouble holding the hoop, make sure you follow the instructions and make sure it's fully engaged. The height adjustment feature is amazing, I can leave it low when my son wants to soak. on him like his father or put him higher when he wants to throw the ball and practice his skills! My son loves this basketball hoop and plays with it often. Ours came with 3 balls as I bought the one that said it had 3 balls. The hoop is height adjustable so I have adjusted it to its size since we got it last year. I covered the base with sand and sealed the plug with silicone. It's a bit hard for me to move, but it's worth it because it hasn't fallen yet. I sealed the cork with silicone because I didn't want my son to understand how to open it and pour out the sand.

. And I've scored a bad block. If the manufacturer would just listen to the one star reviews, they would eliminate the loose temple design flaw. This product could be improved with some kind of locking mechanism and pin behind the shield to fix the tire. In the photos, the tire is fully seated and is still hanging down after a little pressure on the tire. I admit I took a risk hoping not to get a defect. Once I send this back it will likely be reboxed and shipped to another buyer.

EDIT: This thing lives in my hallway/kitchen during the winter because they play with it so much. I tried to put it in our basement and the kids screamed, dammit. My 5 year old dives Air Jordans one handed on the highest settings while my little 2.5 year old does the classic hook shots.
