I love this water and sand table because it has both! My daughter plays with this all the time when she is two years old and he loves it! Enough on both sides to keep them entertained. Sand and water can mix, but you need to know this in advance. The only problem I had was the water stop broke when I installed it, so the little tiles immediately replaced it for free: very happy

Bought for our 2 and 3 year old girls and they love it. It's perfect for 50 pounds of sand. Although definitely not anymore. Also, Lowe has play sand for about $3 for a 50 pound bag, so go there and get some sand. It took our kids about 2 weeks to get the sand out so I'm definitely glad I didn't pay a lot lol. Definitely keep an eye on the little ones with this because our girls found a way to get in to sit in the water and sandy parts lol.

I bought this toy for my daughters (9, 3 and 1). They love playing with him on deck. I only use it as a water toy (I didn't add sand on the other side, I just covered it with water). Assembly was easy, although the instructions weren't very good. I managed to put it together while watching the kids in about 45 minutes. The hardest part is the drain plug. My 14 month old grandson loves this water and sand table. We currently only use it as water. He spends 30-50 minutes carrying and pouring out water. I plan to use it as a sand table when it's too cool to play with the water. It goes great with my deck and is easy to stow away in legless winters. It was a great purchase. I bought this for my 3 year old daughter and she couldn't wait for me to finish assembling it before she started playing with it. After I finished I put it on the balcony and she immediately played with it with my 11 year old daughter. They played for at least an hour before going back inside.
