This is a great product. Huge bag, great quality. I use this under my perches in my chicken coop. Excellent odor control, very mild.

I've bought this bedding before, Kiefer, and I liked it. So of course I bought it again for my guinea pigs. After spending $23 this time, I got an Aspen package which costs about half as much and doesn't work :( very disappointed 😞

I love this bedding for my rats. I grow them so it takes me a couple of hours to clean them out, but as small as the pieces are they can be easily removed with a blaster without clogging them. I just bought two more bags. Bud said it was Dusty but my rats don't seem to care at all.

We potty the puppy and use pine shavings. We got a bag from Petsmart that was big and fluffy, but this one is small and like pellets. It would have worked, but there were HUGE pieces of wood. That's why we couldn't use it because we're also working on getting the puppy not to eat or chew anything in front of him. If we use these shavings, he will eat pine splinters, which will be a tragedy for our wallet. This would be great for a rabbit or hamster, but not a talkative pup.

After watching YouTube videos of the guinea pig rescue in Los Angeles, I bought this giant bag of pine shavings to try and replace paper litter. First of all, before purchasing this item, I saw several reviews about wooden razor sticks and I can confirm that this is true and can be dangerous for your little angels. But most importantly, pine shavings have an extremely strong odor. I thought it was just pine shavings but my guinea pigs just stayed away from the litter and didn't want to walk on…

As you can see, Living World's pine chip bag contains sharp and pointed pieces of wood, which is not normal but is becoming more common in recent months. Also, I've seen orange plastic string in a bag, black plastic string, and wooden blocks spray painted blue in the past. I have no idea where the company sources the wood from, but overall the quality is good with the exception of a few batches. While I have a few complaints about this company's pine shavings, I prefer them to my local store…
