Purchased for a 3D Cell, Maglight, Flashlight. It works, but without a little tweaking it doesn't fit. The housing screw did not fit at all and the original had to be used. I would have used a different bulb if I had known how weak it was. I doubt it can be returned as it is a lightbulb.

See reviews with a large dark spot in the center. I should have listened. It's not possible to get rid of the dark spot in the center without modification like you can with an old lamp or a new Maglite. This lamp is a disappointment as it is from the manufacturer and not the aftermarket.

Seems to be a bit brighter than original but mr maglika probably didn't have access to xenon bulbs when he built mine 25 years ago. Incidentally, Mr. Maglika had to give his wife 29 million because they were married and living together when he was developing the product. So if you are an inventor, wait until marriage falls apart to discover new things.

It is no brighter than the original halogen bulb that came with it. I read reviews after purchase that mentioned the same thing. A little disappointed, but at least he has a new bulb and hopes it will last a while. If I can find an LED lightbulb for it I will definitely replace it with an LED but I couldn't even find it on the Maglite website.

Okay I bought this because I got a DOA Mag-lite with LED bulb and I thought I would revive it. No Bone! This is not a replacement for an LED bulb, it is an LED upgrade, albeit not a very good one, to an incandescent bulb. I have an old Mag-Lite with an incandescent bulb, so I used that. It's not as bright, but I expect a fivefold increase in battery life. I keep you updated.

This product was advertised as a replacement/upgrade for my Mag Lite Flash Lite. Upon receipt it was clear that it wasn't as advertised as it didn't even fit my 3 cell flash.
