These stockings are great. They are very strong and durable

2 bikes, over 3000 miles on a trailer. These stockings are great. They are very strong and durable. If necessary, the bracket can be easily removed. They are really meant to be used in conjunction with a binding, not just a wheel binding. We hit a few big potholes and even dirt roads and the bikes held up. I can even park my bike in the trailer without tying it up when I'm not moving the trailer. Just throw it in the block and you're good to go.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Operating speed

Notes: Tools and Equipment

Traveled over 2700 miles with my 05 Fatboy in a small 8ft enclosed trailer. Very bumpy roads across the country. When we got to California the front strap came loose from the tire, but I had straps in the back that pulled forward as intended and light straps on the handlebars. The bike has not left the carrier. I recommend it to anyone who needs to transport their bike. If I had only used the straps my bike would surely have been crashed and damaged. My bike was there exactly as I had left it…

Manufacturing defect

Regarding the base plate see the picture in the Revain description compared to what was sent to me. The slots that the bolts go into face each other, not in the same direction. So moving the chock forward will not lock the bolt at the rear notch. If the base plate is made as intended, both bolts (or knobs) will be in the correct position. Otherwise she is very reliable and I can only recommend her. However, I have sent several emails to the manufacturer with this photo and never received a…

Time will tell and it is NOT MADE FOR BIG ADVENTURE BIKES.

still holds. Not sure about the 2 small screws holding the bracket to the mounting plate, they seem flimsy to me to hold a 500+lb bike. and it wobbles a bit when the trailer moves, so I think these bolts will eventually break. (follow very simple instructions to install it) It should say at least 1 set of screws goes through the bottom bar, but it doesn't. So. in general it seems to work fine. I'm just not sure if he can handle it. I'll edit this if anything changes. Edit: NOT MADE FOR BIG…
