🔫 LockNLube Pro Pistol-Grip Grease Gun Review

The LockNLube grease gun is fantastic. The tip is attached to the mirror, leaving your hand free. The upper part is fastened firmly enough so that the grease does not leak around the fitting either. The grease gun has a spring loaded nipple to deflate when loaded. There is also a connector on the side that you can attach the handpiece to when not in use. Just a great butter dish at a great price.

Arrived on time. When I filled it with lube all the connections came out the first time I used it. I tightened all the connections and after that everything worked fine. An interesting fact is that the locking connector will not work if it is compromised by grease. I had to alter a couple of 45 degree fittings because the end didn't match the fittings. The rest of the gun works perfectly.

Impressive grease gun. The top nipple for storing the tip keeps it clean and also prevents the lube from smearing onto other items. a hose that allows the hose to rotate 360° and that's a nice touch. And of course it comes with a mounting tip. $80 might seem like a lot for a grease gun, but this one makes the best of a bad situation. Nobody likes to smear, why not make it as easy as possible for yourself?

First of all this is a grease gun and it works well as a grease gun. Now I have these two stars for a reason. There is a spring-loaded valve at the top of the gun that, like mine, constantly squirts lube. He's lost about 2 ounces of lube through this valve in the last month. Sounded great and the ads looked easy. Terrible locking lug design and the grease gun will leak at every joint no matter how hard you tighten it. The locking tip is too big and bulky to use in hard-to-reach places. There are fittings on my Kubota that I had to grease with my old grease gun because there wasn't room for the tip of the locking lever. If you can't completely block the locking tip, grease will go everywhere! If all of your grease fittings are easily accessible, this could work…

It looks like a quality grease gun, but after installing a cartridge of marine grease I tried lubricating the bearing partners on my boat trailer hubs (i.e. not It requires tremendous pressure to fill with grease.) Upon completion of a hub, about 8-10 pumps of the gun, grease began to spill from each lube system port on this gun. I dismantled all the hardware, wrapped it in tape and reassembled it. This grease gun is expensive but well worth the money. The quality of materials and workmanship justifies the higher price and as the title suggests with proper care this grease gun will be the last you will ever need to buy as I am confident it will last you a lifetime. It works flawlessly and is very easy to refill after fitting a new lube cartridge, which I prefer to loading from a bulk form.
