Not bad, but not for me.

Maybe I'm thinking too much but at 100 ISO I expected better color and less grain. Maybe my exposure was off. Photography is subjective and I find this film economical, but I will try something different in the future.

Pros
  • great product
Cons
  • clarity

no movie? on film

I have been using this film + camera for a few months and for some reason I only received about 10 photos on this order before the roll was finished. It was weird because I know how to refill it, but on this order it happened to all 3 of my buns. Really upset

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Negative impression

Interesting film in film photography

The film is exactly as described, and maybe more. He says he oversaturates the colors, which is true. I saw colors there that I haven't seen since the 70's :) All a little unreal, not necessarily bad, more fun, but definitely the place to be.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • You could choose a newer model

I like this film: Film

I like this film. I like the results from this and it's great value for money. I'm not sure if this is a repackaged Ferrania Solaris film or not, but I can confirm that the manufacturer's code on this film indicates that it was made by Ferrania. Ferrania Solaris used to be around $6 or $7 a roll, making it an amazing value. In any case, I liked the film, I will order more.

Pros
  • Standing test results
Cons
  • No automatic

Good artistic emulsion

Good cheap film, what more could you ask for? However, it delivers what you'd expect from an '80s budget film, with terrible color reproduction and noticeable graininess. The main advantage is that very interesting color shifts are produced when cross-processed. Not for those looking for technical excellence, but if you want a good artistic photo emulsion look no further.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Nothing here

Best consumer film I've ever used

Background: I'm a hobby photographer (several paid jobs, but I don't make a living from it) and wanted to review this film in more detail. I shoot 35mm as a hobby and live in the bright Arizona sun, so I wanted to see how this film would fare primarily as an alternative to Kodak Gold 200, another budget film option. I don't actually shoot with Lomo cameras and wanted to see how it would work with traditional 35mm SLRs and rangefinders. For this review I am testing films with my Canon A1 and…

Pros
  • Stable construction
Cons
  • Has flaws
