Runs small in my opinion. I ordered 14/16 hoping my 10 year old will be able to wear them again next fall. This jacket offers enough space to be worn with a sweatshirt. Even the arms weren't long at all. Maybe he can use it next spring, but I'll probably have to buy another jacket again. In addition, the fleece lining does not run over the entire jacket, it stops in the chest area and not on the arms, I think. The hood is detachable.

My son loves the jacket and it fits great! It will definitely be great for our trip to Chicago. BUT. I was disappointed to find there was no label inside with his name on it. The photos of this particular jacket show that it should have a tag. Judging by my photos, they are not. I am an elementary school teacher and he is in my school. I had some doubts after reading poorly rated reviews that complained about the build quality but I had no problems with ours. I bought the Real Green Camo version (camouflage with Hunter Orange security stripes) in October and our son has used it almost every day for the past few months. All stitching and zips are still like new although it belongs to an active 6 year old boy who often throws it on the floor at his school when running around the playground and getting too hot.
