Beautiful and looks good in the home office. Came as a gift, bottom drawer never opened. It took us several weeks to figure out how to open it. We did it manually by moving the top inner lock. A note on this in the manual would be helpful.

What a hassle. This will be shipped from China. Damaged outer and inner packaging. The index card inside was also broken. The bottom was dented, one side was smashed at the top and the other side had a dent in the middle. When we pulled out the top drawer it fell apart - ball bearings everywhere. The slides fell off. We had to repack it, lug it back upstairs (weighs about 80 pounds) and return it for a refund.

The cabinet is very durable, well made and balanced. Easy to assemble, insert boxes and wheels. The key lock is very convenient and works well! The color goes well with other table and workplace furniture. Rolls easily on wheels. The cabinet has a tendency to tip forward if you pull the top drawer all the way out, so be careful. This filing cabinet arrived in a very damaged box. I carefully opened the box, I did not see any damage to the goods. However, the drawers did not close completely after assembly and did not jam. I could hear parts rolling down the stairs behind the box and a few small ball bearings (I think) rolling across my floor. The one star reviewers have come to the right place. The case is damaged and the parts are not working properly. In my case, a corner of the cabinet was crumpled, but it wasn't visible, so it's fine. Some ball bearings have rolled off the closet door glides onto the floor but still don't run very smoothly. Parts of two ground wheels fell off, but now they roll. I plan on spending $20 to buy new furniture wheels as I'm sure this piece will fall off every time one of the wheels falls apart…

Good heavy block. heavy boxes. Made of chipboard with laminate. The four wheels only have two starting holes that are slightly larger than the drill mark on the laminate. Each of the wheels has four mounting holes and the requisite number of screws needed with a few extras (surprise, surprise). To install them correctly and not risk breaking the underlying laminate or chipboard, I took a #40 drill bit and drilled a hole about a quarter inch deep for each screw location. I needed a nice wooden two drawer cabinet for a home office with nice wooden furniture. It completely filled the account. The item arrived fully assembled and was very well packaged with styrofoam around the corners and edges and cardboard protection. The only assembly involved turning the handles inside out (2 minute task) and attaching the four casters to the base.
