I've used bamboo combs before and read that sandalwood combs are better. I have to say this is the best comb I have ever used. Doesn't grab hair like some brushes. Sandwood itself is a slightly oily wood, so it is very moisture resistant. It also distributes natural oils evenly throughout my hair. The best thing is the smell.
