Not identical to FML-27-EX-D

I bought it because I want it to be compatible but as you can see in the photo it's a bit longer and not placed in the light. It looks like a good product but I have no idea because it is not compatible.

Pros
  • Pleased
Cons
  • Only available in black

The lightbulb flickers, so useless

This lightbulb flickers. I tested my bulb with a bulb from another bulb and it worked fine with no flicker. I paid more for this lamp hoping it would be better than the cheaper ones but it is not. Don't waste money.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Almost never

Cons

It annoys me that I have to go through the return process.

I think that's partly my fault. I wanted to order from Light of America and this is not Lights of America. After installation, the light bulb shone dimly, then brightly, then went out and did not shine again. It annoys me that I have to go through the return process and buy a replacement from the company that made the lamp. What a problem.

Pros
  • This fluorescent lamp from LSE Lighting is 100% compatible with the Lights of America 9024B fluorescent reading lamp.
Cons
  • Obsolete model

Lamps made in China do not match lamp

Two bulbs were purchased. One of them was to replace the burned out original of my 9024B lamp. I dropped the first bulb and smashed it after repeatedly trying to put it back. Even the second pear could not be used with great difficulty. I took my time and not impatiently trying to put lightbulbs in the lamp. This product is made in China. The lamps do not match the lamp 9024B. I threw the lamp away and replaced it with one that uses standard 60W equivalent LED bulbs or CFL bulbs.

Pros
  • All lamps listed are compatible items. We do not sell Lights of America lamps. All Lights of America trademarks, trademarks and logos are owned by Lights of America. - note. Does not work in Verilux lamp
Cons
  • Crumpled

I see best with compact fluorescent lamps

Pleasant white sunlight. Ensures crisp images if you are an artist. Your lines are clearly visible and when placed correctly, all your details will catch your eye. If I had money I would buy a few, it's always nice to see what you make. Need a new light switch that doesn't work but the last bulb has been on for over three years, too lazy to turn the damn thing off. I'm surprised at how little heat it gives off. Would recommend to anyone who needs to see colors and/or detail that might go…

Pros
  • Basic type: Quad 4-pin
Cons
  • Something else
