🦎 Lucky Herp 100W UVA+UVB Mercury Vapor Bulb: Powerful Heat Basking Light for Reptiles and Amphibians Review

I haven't had them in a week but I can say THAT is UVA/UVB and a heat source! EXCELLENT GOODS! Definitely worth your money!

EDIT: This lamp only lasted 3 months. It was a big waste of money. This lamp is BIG so I had to raise the mount a bit, but it illuminated a large area without overheating. The warmth stays in the middle. My cupcake loves it and finds her stretched out underneath.

The UVB index image shows 1000 µW/cm2 at 30cm for a clear lamp . Their website shows the same. The packaging says that the power is 110 μW / cm2 at a distance of 30 cm, otherwise the bulb will work. The first day I applied it to my face while working at home and it stung my nose a bit!

This lightbulb gives everything a green hue, including our bearded man. Because of this, I was very skeptical about using it. However, once I took the risk, I couldn't be happier. Since we switched to this lightbulb, our beard "Brock" is much healthier. He's more active. he eats better His bowel movements became even more regular. I absolutely love this product!

This lamp provides excellent UV light for your reptiles. I was able to test the bulb with a solar UVB meter and UVB is adequate even at about 18 inches away after the bulb has warmed up. The heat output is very similar to that of a ceramic heater, so switching between day and night settings for reptiles is very easy. I will retest the UVB performance in 3 months to assess its performance over time.

As my turtles don't speak English I have no idea how they like it. But it seems to be doing its job. Lights up, warms up the tank. I am not sure if they are getting enough UV light as they have shown signs of vitamin D and calcium deficiencies after using this light. Nothing compares to the good old SUN. The ceramic piece on top gets HOT and when you click and reattach it it doesn't come back. When it's off I usually just wait until the next day and it works again.

Very happy with this bulb! I was honestly shocked by its size when I took it out of the box, it was way bigger than I thought for the price. My first thought was that it seemed solid and well made. I hooked it up to my Fluker Sun Dome light and it worked as expected. Not too bright, but just right. My tortoise loves basking under it. I can't recommend it enough to anyone! Just make sure you have a big lamp for it or it will most likely not fit, I would recommend Fluker's Sun Dome.
