We loved these shorts so much we bought more in other colors! They are soft, but not too thin and without tags - the child will be comfortable in them! I bought these for my child with ASD as they were recommended by another mom. They are very comfortable for her and she likes them but they don't fit her and are still transparent. Unfortunately she can't wear them as shorts, they will look great under a dress. Unfortunately, my child refuses to wear dresses.

I ordered 4-5 for my 5.5 year old. She is tall and thin. 43 pounds. They work great but can shrink a bit (55% cotton). I think I could order a size 6 for her and keep her for a lot longer. But they are excellent material for your school uniform. I will order the same brand next time we go bigger.
