These shorts are too long to wear "under" shorts. They fit my daughter like her Old Navy and The Children's Place bike shorts - 2/3 below the hip. I was looking for something shorter - no panties but no shorts either. Also, I took size 7/8 for my tall and slim 8 year old daughter and she said they are too tight at the bottom where the top is.

All the Lucky & Me products that we have purchased are of above average quality. In fact, I bought the same panties for my granddaughter at 7/8 last year. When they got a bit full this year I ordered another 9/10. Oddly enough, for her, the 9/10 shorts are actually tighter than the old 7/8s. At first I thought my granddaughter was dreaming, but her legs were so tense that they slipped down her leg. They come back and I think we'll find another brand.

delivery was on time. They weren't the color I originally ordered so they quickly replaced them with a black and white pair, thanks for that. However, I'm not happy with the length of these cycling shorts, they don't serve the purpose I bought them for the first time. They're more like "boy shorts" for little girls, NOT the bike shorts you would wear under dresses/skirts/tunics to cover panties and most of your thighs (I know I'm not looking for capri pants either).
