In fairness to the company that makes this product, I have to update my previous review. I reported that the CD player - when first bought and replaced - was defective. This was unusual, so we double-checked the CD ourselves (we thought we'd already done so) only to find that the CD was defective, not the CD player. So overall this is a good product and we apologize for this error.

CD works. Cell phone charger works. The radio works. The alarm clock works but not the radio. I can tune the radio to a station I want to hear, but not when I set an alarm. When setting the alarm I can get FM radio mode with 88.0 (aka FM frequency) flashing. Press the alarm button again to set your favorite frequency. The display stays at 87.5 and doesn't change the station no matter what button I press. So if you don't have a station on 87.5 (we don't, just static) then I would advise against…

Definitely attractive and love how compact it is. It has a thin wire antenna about 2 to 3 feet long, and I was surprised to be able to pick up several radio stations from my desk, including the one I love to listen to. The user manual is poorly written, has many grammatical errors, doesn't include things like disabling the alarm entirely, is difficult to understand, and barely covers any features. If you pause the CD player for more than a few minutes, it turns itself off. If it turns off, the CD player loses the current track, so you can't go back to where you were.
