We bought two of these fans with plugs. One for either end of the tent in our Jayco Jay Feather Hybrid Camper. So glad we did! It really helps circulate the air during the hot summer months and the light is an added bonus! I also like that there are two ways to position the fan. It can snap onto the ends of the tent vertically or horizontally. Very easy to use. Just put the clip in the end of the tent, plug in the 12v and you're good to go! Oh, the nightmares Forest River gives you with its branded power connector. I literally bought 2 fans for my flagstaff drawer because they were the only ones that had proprietary purposes. Well after 3 rides they fell apart and started to fail. I bought Lumitronics and changed the power cables. I can already say that they will far outlive the original lamps/fans. I wish they were LED bulbs but I would prefer the product to last longer!

Great quality at half the price of our motorhome. Same quality and volume (in the height) as our old Jayco camper. Our new Jayco had connectors but no fan/light. The plug didn't stay on at first, which was odd because it's the same size as the "old" headphone plug. Opened the socket on our Jayco and found that the metal tabs had to be bent back to hold the plug properly. These fans are not to blame. The problem was with both stickers on the camper. We really liked this light/fan for use in our gazebo. Bought in autumn 2019. Used once, works great. Then, when we tried to use it for the second time this summer of 2020, the LED backlight stopped working and the fan didn't work either. We are very disappointed. Upon closer inspection, it turned out that one of the cables was pinched during assembly at the factory because it protrudes from the case right next to the fan. We weren't the cause. Excellent quiet fan and pretty good light. The fan moves the air around the sleeping area of the RV very well. It has 3 clips to keep it in place and is almost silent on low settings. The crickets outside are much louder and I often get out of the RV and forget to turn it off, it's so quiet. At high speeds, the fan moves a lot more air than at low speeds and is almost annoyingly loud. It's good for cooling off if you're cooking or removing odors from the RV, but it's probably too noisy to sleep
