I bought this in black and it makes a great rich base for adding die cuts and decorative paper to handmade postcards. BUT I then ordered purple for Halloween cards and the color wasn't right at all - more blueberry than purple. So it's a great board if you're not too picky about the color.

I really like this paper. My only issue is that it even comes close to matching the navy blue cards from local retailers. So that makes it only available through them. Everything is fine as long as I can order it online. If it says it's out of stock due to the large order I'm making, I can't just run to my local store and get a refill. It's also a very good box. Good thickness for invitations. very durable. I will order more while the dark blue is in stock.

Midnight black cardstock is quite durable. Black is more like matte black. I scored and folded the cardboard with no problems. Thickness compared to Neenah 80lbs (GSM 216). The package could be better to protect the corners. Also, some of the parts I used had a square indent because that's what I use for die cutting and won't worry about returning them. This is a good price in my opinion considering I pay $6-$7 for 10 sheets of high quality black cardstock.

I like this board but it's expensive, I'm not sure if it's really printable because it's still midnight black. However, I didn't buy it to print. Was only able to use the product as I bought it to paint I hope it doesn't absorb as much paint as it looks. I wish it had a glossy finish but the product description isn't wrong -leading. It's not meant to be shiny but for the price I would like a shiny product.

Paper similar to 100# Bristol Board and finish comparable to poster board. It has a matte, mottled finish. It would have made a solid background but I bought it to cut paper with scissors and a scalpel. You can bend it horizontally but not vertically. The paper is shrink-wrapped, color fastness or weight are not specified. I will do a color fastness test. I live in Minnesota so I'm at the mercy of our winter sun.

I'm used to 100 pounds or 110 pounds which are pretty heavy. It's definitely closer to 80 pounds. I use a lot of Recollections 110lb and Neenah 110lb cards (which are actually thicker than Recollections), so I'm VERY familiar with card density. I make postcards, so I like cardboard. These are nice colors (I have teal, plum and black) but they are bright and I can't use them for cards. Instead I will use them for the panel. The description says 100 pounds of cardboard, but in reality it's far from it. This is definitely not for professional business cards or professional looking packaging projects. I would describe it as rigid but "flexible". If you specifically need a real £100 carton for something, buy elsewhere because it's not exact! It's even thinner than my 80 lb box! Good quality cards. However, it is SUPER thick, around 300 gsm. It didn't print on my HP Neverstop 1202w laser printer. My Epson inkjet printer prints fine. It prints fine on my HP Laser Jet Pro m478 MFP, but when I try to apply gold foil over the top through the Minc machine, there are still black spots here and there (see photo). I tried it with a lighter weight of 216 g/m². Card, same laser printer, same gold foil, and everything was perfect! So I assume the paper is too thick or not smooth…
