Significant improvement in hip and back pain

Sitting in an ordinary chair has killed my hip/leg and back. I've tried to get up, but my desk in my home office is an antique and it just can't stand it. The previous use of standing tables did not help either. However, this seat helped a lot. I have yet to do PE and Foam Rolling but in general the difference is between day and night.

Pros
  • Worth the money
Cons
  • Nothing here

Most comfortable rocker, better than 350.

I've tried this $60 metal model and the $350 variant of it, "original" with the designer's name branded on it. This one was much more comfortable than the other two, both were returned. The spider broke in the first week of use but the company sent me a replacement with no problem.

Pros
  • Great selection
Cons
  • I won't say anything

Poor quality control Buyer beware

Chair looks great and comfortable but buyer beware... The parts arrived unfinished as the manufacturer didn't drill most of the holes required for assembly. Extremely poor quality control. I chose to drill holes rather than go through the return process since I have the right tools. Also, the chair is a bit wobbly when assembled. In hindsight, perhaps a less attractive metal version would have been a better choice.

Works the same as the original

I have the original Balens chair. It's just as comfortable as the original and costs less than a third less. build quality. The only complaint is that the knee pads are too thick, leading to some instability. I'm sure I'll adjust, I can trim the foam padding which will be easy enough. Great price for a great chair. Update, I removed the clips from the fabric without disassembling, I compressed the foam, reattached the fabric cover and now trim the excess fabric. Simple and perfect.

Pros
  • Best in Niche
Cons
  • Exchange possible

Extremely comfortable

I don't know what all the negative reviews are about. Took me about 20 minutes to assemble and this is one of the most comfortable chairs I have ever sat on. The padding is thick, not fluffy, but not too strong either. I wish it was actually a bit stiffer as I think it will only soften over time. It does NOT press on your toes unless you have very long calves or toes. I'm 5ft 8" tall and my toes are sitting right on the back of the tree. And NO, it is NOT thin. It's pretty durable and I didn't…

Pros
  • practical item
Cons
  • so far so good
