Description of LXLE

LXLE is based on Lubuntu which is an Ubuntu OS using the LXDE desktop environment. It is designed to be a drop-in and go OS, primarily for aging computers.

Lightweight desktop environment - Great alternative

I like that it's light weight so my computer doesn't heat up as much when running this operating system. Also, it has all of the most basic necessities you would want in a linux distro. Very simple to install and use once installed. Nothing really, but if your looking for something very lightweight then try out lxle. It does not have any real features other than what is listed above. If you are new to Linux or just need a simple easy way to get started with an Operating System without too many…

Great minimal desktop environment & easy install

I like that it's fast! Really quick boot up time. The interface isn't too hard to figure out but if you are new or don't know what Linux/Ubuntu looks like then this may not work as well with your computer. If you're looking for something simple that will get things done quickly without slowing down everything around it (like Windows 10 does), then LXLE is perfect for you! LXLE is amazing, and perfect for Linux beginners

I like that it's lightweight! And there are many options of customization in terms of themes etc., so you can make your own look unique if not exactly what one would call "outdated". Sometimes when i'm trying different things out or exploring new apps/programs this program freezes up but only sometimes (not always) - nothing major though just something minor every now & then; however once again its very customizable with lots upon LOTS more programs than most other distros available thus giving
