I doofus is good for healthcare

I didn't read the description well and judging by the picture I thought it was 3 packs and didn't choose the color which was black by default and I don't do it I don't like it because it's the hardest thing to see a tick on it. Haven't used them yet but they seem to work.

    Poor design on First Aid

The velcro has no opposing velcro strip for attachment so it simply attaches to the fabric and when you peel the strip away from the fabric the fabric stretches across the whole Surface. That. Took them on a hike and they fell. Used them in the yard to mow the grass and they fell off. I think if you put them on and don't move, they will stay. Not worth the money, bad design.

    Comfortable, adjustable mite protection

Very comfortable and adjustable. They allow you to work in the garden or go hiking without having a toe brace on your leg when walking past tall grass and biting yourself. For those of us looking to protect ourselves from tick-borne Lyme disease, this is a great addition to your outdoor gear. Yes, yes and yes! Take a spray and treat your shoes too.

Tick repellent good for health care

It is good for long walks but tends to fall off in a thick bush. Luckily, shortly after it happened, I realized he wasn't well, so I was able to find him. The other one didn't fall but broke away so I need to fix it. If you are going to be away for any length of time they will stay, but if you are in heavy bush you must check them out. Also, if you coat the pants with insect repellent before putting them on, let them dry. There are small black spots on my trousers because I put on the spats…

The easiest way to deter pesky ticks

I was delighted with how easy these leggings were to put on and how comfortable they were to wear. Several approaches to controlling ticks have been tried and the best thing is to wear all permitrin-protected clothing, but these are difficult to put on and take off and can be very uncomfortable in the heat and humidity of mid-summer. This is a pretty good approach for general use if you're just walking and not rolling on the lawn. If weeds and grass are no higher than the knee or less, this…

Impressed. Stopped in place 8 miles.

I was impressed. I often go camping or backpacking and occasionally go to areas where ticks may be present. I've seen them and they might be an option over spats as they claim to repel ticks. I can't say for sure, but I ventured 8 miles and didn't bring any "guests". Photo after the trip. What impressed me was that they remained without adjustments and did not fidget during the hike. When I first put them on I was skeptical thinking the velcro would definitely rip but they stayed the way I put…

    LYMEEZ Mite Mesh Gaiters

Wow! This is a great design. The "socks" are 2 sheets of sewn mesh tapered to fit the calf. There is a Velcro strip that runs the length of the fabric and is not tight - over 1 inch wide so there is a good grip. No need to take off your pants or shoes. Wrap it as tightly or loosely as possible and run your hand over the strip you are wearing. Can be rolled out easily. Mesh is great at 100F+, not uncomfortable. I live in the foothills and there are a lot of biting bugs in the heat. Gnats…

ALLERGY WARNING! - Severe skin reaction to leggings.

I really wanted you to like these gaiters - a simple solution to preventing ticks on your legs. And at first I liked her. Once wrapped tightly around my legs, the single Velcro strap hooked firmly into the sleeve and stayed in place throughout the hike. I haven't found a need for a second velcro strap like some reviewers claim. They seemed to get the job done on the trail and hike my dogs (without a brush). But NOW to the point – after putting them on four times, the skin on the back of my…

Needs improvement - not as good as it could be

I have been using this product for about 2 years. It seems effective for keeping ticks off the upper body, but needs to be done better. For some reason, one side of every alligator, the side without the Velcro, is about 2 inches longer than the side with the Velcro. I don't know why and its extra width is an issue because it can snag on things and open the alligator. Velcro should be wider and stronger. It can be tricky to get a good seal with, and if something catches the alligator, it'll jump
