Great little fan. I use it as an exhaust fan in my bedroom. I keep my house pressurized so the air naturally wants out, but the wind can make the situation unsafe and I need constant ventilation. Bought this product to cool my PS4. Arrived assembled, the USB cable is very long. I installed one of the fans on top of the PS4 and the other behind the system. One on the back blows forward toward the system and the other blows up to pull hot air out of the system. they work silently. Rubber feet hold the fans in place and don't make any rattling noises. I am very happy with these fans and will buy them again if the need arises.

Purchased to ventilate the closet in my entertainment center that held my game consoles and it got too hot due to poor ventilation. I was hoping to plug this into my console's USB port so that it works when the console is on and automatically turns off when the console is powered off. Unfortunately, you have to manually control the power buttons on this fan for it to turn on, even when the game console is on. As such, I found this fan pretty much useless for its intended purpose. My TP-Link router sometimes fails due to overheating. Since it has a USB port (for file sharing, which I don't use), I bought this fan and installed it on the back of my router. After installation it started quite well. Not a single failure for over 10 days. The fan isn't "completely silent", but it's quiet enough to be unnoticeable. For the price I think it's a good addition. I can get another one for my wifi extender.

If you plan to use it as a fan for a quiet PC cabinet; PC fans will not mask the noise of this fan. The fan makes a "buzzing" noise that's hard to ignore. as opposed to the thumping hum of my case and heatsink fans in my computer. It's a shame because the construction is solid and the controls aren't bad either; it just makes a weird sound. Regardless of the speed set, I might add. 3 stars out of 5 for a functional fan with airflow and dB ratings to match its display.

Updated and raised the rating from two to four stars due to the proactive actions of the company.
