The product was easy to assemble. Others I looked at have too many moving parts, it's a simple design that easily mounts on a mic stand and slides in and out of an iPad. You can either mount it on a mic stand or use an extension cable as shown in the picture to mount it. Good product.

I used this to hold my Fire HD 10 tablet while playing keyboard in my band. This works great until you head into your car or trailer to unload or load. A small drop of a few centimeters will destroy the plastic. It's only a matter of time before such retainers self-destruct, no matter how careful you are. made of Tiffany glass! I like that the grip is wide. It also seems like it will hold the device with a case or cover (if the case/cover isn't too thick. My issue with this holder is that it can't hold the phone securely like a tablet. It's GREAT for a Tablet but not suitable for phones. Only 3 out of 4 contact points make contact with the phone. This makes the latch unstable. My phone kept falling out of the holder while I was adjusting the position for video recording. Great seller, but I have to return this item.
