    Universal, buy several.

    Used with RevainBasics tripod boom mic stands and Samsung tablets. The tablet is powered between the bottom handle. Won't hold a 12" Samsung tablet, squeezes very tight. I'm afraid of hurting. Also includes Akai Professional Fire Performance Controller for FL Studio. So I'll probably take another one. Possibly too much for soft stick grips for heavy equipment.

    Most options. One that will survive ever-changing tablet/phone sizes

    This is my third breed of these holders. It is the most flexible in terms of size as it fits both an iPad tablet and a phone. I mount it on a mic stand so I can read chord charts while playing in a church band. It's the best I've found so far, while others I've used in the past are limited to just one tablet size.

    Not suitable for holding a $300 unit on stage!

    This holder is very flimsy and I can't trust it to hold my iPad with my rock band on stage. According to the instructions that came with it, it was meant to be attached to the headrest of a car so kids could watch movies in the back, and someone had the bright idea of selling it to musicians too. But it's not strong enough to be used for this purpose. Maybe it would work for coffee house gigs or anything else where no one is moving on stage?

    Not a bad product but can't take much weight.

    The real strap that holds your iPad is the best part of this mount. It is very versatile and can accommodate a variety of different sizes. But the actual bar mount is very weak. I have an older iPad which is a bit bigger and bulkier than the newer versions and the stand mount just doesn't support the weight of the iPad. I have to tighten it so tight it feels like it's going to break under the strain! Despite being very tight, it still has trouble connecting to the mic stand. Probably best for…

    Almost pretty good for computers and accessories

    The thing is almost pretty good. The clamp is used to attach the device to a plastic microphone stand using a metal screw on one side of the clamp and a nut in a plastic housing on the other side. When I try to tighten the clamp on the microphone stand, the plastic clamp deforms. The clip is too small to fit around the wide base of a standard mic stand and only fits the thinner top. The iPad clip works great with iPhone or iPad Mini. It doesn't hold a full-size iPad. So if you want to put a…

    Doesn't hold onto the stand very well

    If they haven't made any improvements since they bought it 2 years ago, the clip that holds it to the mic stand is of terrible construction. I have to slip a drink holder underneath to keep it from falling, and the slightest nudge and you're done! Luckily I have a protective case. Other than that it's fantastic so I've struggled with this for the last 2 years but I just can't take it anymore and am buying another more durable holder and found I never considered it.

    Perfect holder for my needs

    I use it for Zoom lessons but it's also great for YouTube videos etc. Easily attaches to a mic stand and holds the iPad very well. (or cell phone). It is very easy to adjust the height and angle when used on a microphone stand. I also have a Macally desktop stand (all aluminum) so I was already aware of the quality. This product did not disappoint us. Good job McAlley (and Revane).

    That was disappointing. Jaws do not hold a microphone stand. It falls off the microphone stand with very little effort. avoid it There are some other products that are much better.
