I bought five of these bath towels a few years ago and was very satisfied. I've just bought two more and am disgusted with the drop in quality. They are literally less than half the thickness of towels I've washed in years! To call these towels "luxury" is a silly joke. These are the last 1888 Mills products I will buy.

We ain't even used these towels. I washed them before use. Each towel had a small hook or two, but one towel (pictured) was frayed four to five inches on the sides. I'm sure these towels will turn to trash after a few more washes. Too bad. I liked that it was a "free trade" organization. Also, it's very unclear if they were actually made in the US as described.
