glue is rubbish and the assembly is a joke. Finally I pulled out some small nails and a hammer to assemble the house. I would have sent it back but it was a gift from my son to his aunt and we didn't have time to order another one. I also ended up buying more paint from the store because what they give is not enough.

Nice, not bulky and my son enjoyed painting it but there wasn't enough glue in the bag and he couldn't assemble it himself. got him frustrated but they didn't tell you that your first step is to install the bells because I just assumed the instructions would say I followed them and ended up not being able to use them because it was too late, I've already done it all glued

I had low expectations for this craft. However, this was unwise. The holes didn't line up with the wall with the pins to actually assemble the bird house. Even if you manage to line up the pins, the pins were too short to actually hold the birdhouse together. Glue is not carpentry. I didn't even care. Do not buy for yourself or as a gift. It's cheap and impractical as a viable bird house. GARBAGE! Returned.

I didn't expect anything better! The pieces don't fit together; comes with about 3 glue dots; a tiny brush, not even the size of a dollar store watercolor brush set; overall a total disappointment. The paint is of good quality, the colors are bright but not enough to cover the birdhouse. That's enough for decorating, but not for the main color. Very disappointing for a child who was shaking with excitement when the package arrived.

I babysit an almost 6 year old loving crafts girl and she has been talking about how to make a bird house for weeks! I wanted to do something more legal than a painted milk carton, but I didn't really want to take it hammer and nail to wood. That was excellent! update - took a month and most of the spots painted with the paint provided had downy mold. I'm thankful it fell from our tree so I could see how we offer this mold hut to our neighbor birds. Need better glue! I bought two of these kits for my kids and in one the glue was completely dry and unusable. There was almost no glue in my daughter's glue and we couldn't get all the pieces together before they ran out. It looks like it will be solid once assembled and the paint supplied was in good condition so they should be able to paint with no problems. I was hoping it would stay together without glue since there are pins, but any movement pulls apart parts that can't be glued. I'm going

We saw birds coming in spring and my daughter wanted to buy a bird house so I suggested building one. This is the one she chose. It's cheap so I wasn't expecting anything out of the ordinary and some of the reviews might be a bit harsh, but it's just a normal project for a kid. I had no trouble matching the holes to tighten the pieces, but they definitely don't match.
