Description of πŸ“‘ Enhance Radio Reception with Maestro HRN-ANT-SAT1 FAKRA to Aftermarket SMB Satellite Radio Antenna Adaptor

Satellite radio antenna adapter -use your vehicle's factory satellite radio antenna with the SiriusXM tuner. iDatalink's Maestro SAT1 cable allows you to connect your SiriusXM satellite radio tuner to your vehicle's original satellite radio antenna, eliminating a lot of time, heartache, and hassle. It adapts the FAKRA connector at the end of your factory antenna cable to an SMB plug that connects to your SXV100, SXV200, or SXV300 in-car tuner.

If you want a siriusxm with an aftermarket radio get it

Siriusxm quality is pretty poor but if you have the subscription you want to use and an aftermarket radio , it will make your life much easier . Easier. Much better reception from my GTI's built in satellite dish, plus I didn't have to fiddle with all those cables from the cheap antenna that came with my SiriusXM module for my Alpine.

Pros
  • Pretty impressive
Cons
  • So far so good

Excellent aftermarket SIRIUS antenna interface.

Purchased to have aftermarket SIRIUS radio and satellite components work with the factory antenna. I have found something wrong with the standard antenna so will be installing it in my car stereo for future use! Fits where it should in the dashboard and the factory wiring, only had to install a SIRIUS magnetic antenna instead of a defective factory antenna and cable!

Pros
  • Great product
Cons
  • Alright

Use it instead of installing another satellite dish.

We purchased an aftermarket radio and used it to connect to the original manufacturer installed satellite radio dish. The installer recommended a second antenna as he didn't have one, but a visit to Revain fixed the problem. This keeps the car looking original and allows aftermarket radios to use a much better factory antenna without running more wiring.

Pros
  • Heavy Duty Construction
Cons
  • Volume

iDatalink says it doesn't work in a 2008 Dodge Ram 1500. You are wrong, it works! I took out the glove box, disconnected the factory antenna from the factory Sirius module, plugged in the adapter, connected the SXV-300 tuner and routed the cable from the tuner through the dash to my second radio. Of course it worked great! I catch all channels and there is no signal loss. Best of all: I kept the factory antenna and didn't have to install a new one!

Pros
  • Handy thing

Just what I need in antennas

Last year when I had a new stereo and SiriusXM module professionally installed in my 14 year old Dodge Challenger they said they couldn't Connect to Sirius Satellite Dish is already on my car. Instead, they added a new magnetic antenna to the dash that fell out a lot. With this Maestro adapter I was finally able to reconnect to my shark fin antenna. So I am very satisfied. Although the cable could be a few inches longer. It was close to me. Otherwise an excellent product. Now if only I could…

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors
