Not Worth the Money

After I put it to the test, this hole saw proved to be a complete waste of money. The teeth wore down quickly and the saw struggled to cut through even thin sheets of metal. The only positive was the size of the holes it cut. The low quality of this tool was a huge disappointment..

Pros
  • Durable and long-lasting, able to cut through a variety of materials smoothly.
Cons
  • May break easily if not used with proper technique and caution.

Useless for Industrial and Scientific Needs

This holesaw is a complete waste of money. As my tests showed it struggles to cut through even the thinnest pieces of metal and can easily become dull after only a few uses .The only pro I can think of is that it looks pretty in the packaging. However, if you`re looking for something that will actually get the job done, this is not the product for you. Don't waste your time or money on this useless tool..

Pros
  • Durable and long-lasting
Cons
  • May require a lot of effort to drill through harder materials

Do not use this hole saw if cutting metal

This 2 7/8 hole saw was used to drill ONE hole in a sheet of stainless steel (beer keg) with cutting edges for oil . Before the hole was complete, the teeth of the crown disappeared and became jagged. Compare that to the used 2-1/2" Milwaukee Bi-Metal Hole Saw in my toolbox that cuts two holes in the same barrel with ease. Problems and no visible impact on the hole saw. The Milwaukee saw has been in use for the last 15 years used many times.

Pros
  • Cuts 2" x 4" in one pass
Cons
  • Disappears
