Durable plastic and light weight. It was pretty easy to put together once I figured it out. The diagram doesn't help much, but it gives a general idea. It holds my wigs perfectly. Lace wigs can slip a bit once you've positioned them just right. Definitely worth the price.

I know, I know! This is truly a travel wig stand and I bought it for home use. It works great if you're just using it for storage and that's it. However, I do like putting wigs on stands to comb/style them and since this stand is essentially as light as a feather, the stand kept falling off. I had a long 30 inch wig and had to change the stand it used because it kept falling apart under the weight of the wig.
