I ordered a 2016 turbo for my bike, intake, downpipe and complete exhaust. The internal hum was very loud and annoying, so the purpose was to eliminate the internal hum and keep the exhaust flowing. Overall very impressed with how it sounds for a 4 cylinder turbo engine. There's still an aggressive rumble, but no longer an internal rumble. Still pops/clicks between shifts and gurgles/crackles on downshifts.

used as a resonator instead of a rusty one. I had two on my 2009 Lancer Sport, the one closest to the catalytic converter which is similar in shape to it was much more rusted than the rest of the car which is unusual. Very good quality, louder than expected. I used 2 of these on my 2017 Golf Alltrack, first with the factory resonator removed and then had to put it back in because it was so boomy. Now that the resonator is back in place and I've welded 3.5" double wall Magnaflow tips with 2.5" inlet to these mufflers, the sound sounds great. These are through mufflers. Without the bladder, it's not for everyday driving. I installed Magnaflo in my Jeep JK and saw a huge increase in fuel economy. In one month I spent twice as much as usual. Of course, that has to do with the functionality of what a silencer should do on a vehicle. The sound of the drone coming out is very loud and overwhelming in the car, in my opinion. I don't think there is a difference in running an open pipe without a muffler. I will end up saying that you are better off saving your money…
