Easy to install and remove from the CD tray without damaging it. This was my main concern. This mount fits my iPhone 8+ well, but according to the manufacturer also Samsung Galaxy phones and many others. It works as advertised and I have no complaints.

Works well for the person I gave it to but be aware if you have a touch screen where the CD slot is. I have a 16 Honda CR-V and it blocks my screen. The person I gave it to has a 16th gen Chevy Tahoe and the screen is available when present.

There are different approaches to navigation phone car mounts. I've tried the ones that attach to the HVAC vent and window extractor. Both had problems. The idea of using the CD slot is brilliant. The first thing I did when I got this mount was put it in the CD slot and then see if it could hold my phone. Although it was obvious the magnet was there, the phone slipped off. I took the phone out of the case, the problem remained. It wasn't an assembly error - I didn't see the little black box with the two self-adhesive metal plates you're supposed to use on the back of the phone.
