I bought this to charge a Samsung phone (it said so in the product description) but it only charges the iPhone battery. I tested! For me it didn't work for what I needed. I could have bought a cheaper item if I knew it wouldn't work. I tested the product a long time later, so I didn't ask for my money back. I felt cheated!

ok this might be ok if you don't use a phone case or if you can put a magnet on the outside of the phone case. The round magnet they attach to the device didn't work through my basic cheap slim phone case which is for looks only and doesn't offer any real protection. I tested it even before trying the magnet. Just to make sure it actually loads. and it seemed very picky about its reliability for doing so. I would invest my money elsewhere

This phone holder is perfect for what I need. I do grocery delivery as a part time job and needed something to hold my phone for GPS and easy access. This is ideal - there are no brackets on the unit to place the phone in. You can just pick it up and put it back when needed. The magnet is strong and can hold my large note phone while making fast turns :) I still haven't figured out how to charge wirelessly, but I don't need this feature.
