💫 Shimmer Powder Eyeshadow Makeup Review

Very cute but do you know powder is SPRAY powder. In hindsight you can tell from the pictures but it never occurred to me that they would do that for baby makeup. My kid spilled it everywhere and you could see it floating in the air. I was worried she would inhale it. Eventually I convinced her to dust two large animals with loose powder and keep the rest for herself in exchange for new makeup.

These are adorable, washable and super cute. My only issue is that the powders (glitter - very cute) have shaker tops, but when my daughter gave the lid a little shake (like her mom does with Bare Minerals. LOL) the shaker lid falls off. The mess is easy to clean up but the powder was wasted and my daughter was upset! Otherwise the set is great! We can superglue the tops of the shakers to keep them from coming loose.

This set is great, but beware: not for the little ones. Lipsticks and powders are surprisingly light and pigmented. My 4 year old daughter can't just put lipstick on her lips yet and uses it all over her mouth. No wonder she wore this lipstick all over her face and it wasn't easy to wipe it off (leaved a little stain around her mouth). Not the end of the world and she loved it so I would still buy it again. The product is very high quality / not cheap.

If you do this you will have a huge mess. I really liked this set. I gave it to my 6 year old granddaughter for her birthday and she loved it! Her sister who is 4 years old used this playset with her. There's quite a bit of product out there, and that should be enough for a while if there's no serious skill. Need a little guide for young girls so they don't end up with clown eyes and cheeks! I'm not sure if the product has changed after all the reviews said it was suitable for sensitive skin or something, but that's definitely not the case. Our daughter had no problem using other baby makeup kits, including ones so thick they looked more like paste than makeup.
