Quality is lower than I expected

Not as good as the ones you can buy at Home Depot. When I pressed them against the coax I had a few breaks. They are easy to break. The brand sold at Home Depot is a much higher quality connector and will get you connected right on the first try. They were hits or misses.

Just. Just take the good ones.

Great for do-it-yourselfers. tiny jobs that don't require many connections. Now if you install a security system with 128 channels in an area of 72,000 m². ft. My gosh, you better be ready to do this job 'till you're gray! Just be prepared to spend hours troubleshooting connections and rerouting cables. Thank goodness I only bought 20 to try! 10 worked perfectly, 5 broke, the other 5 ended up in the trash.

Great BNC connector but needs some practice

Worked great but like other reviewers have said the first few times I didn't glue the connector and inner grommet deeply enough around the white plastic casing (which holds the inner wire surrounds). By twisting/sliding the ring between the copper mesh and the white insulator, the union nut is tight. The separate pin that slides over the inner wire is ingenious and eliminates a lot of hassles. If possible, check your connections before compressing - this will also save you some trouble.

Don't waste your money, you will be disappointed.

If you are new to BNC compression connectors, this product is not for you. I am an electrician and have installed many camera systems in the past. I was adding a few more cameras to my existing system and was too lazy to plug in power and buy quality fixtures. The plastic grommet that pushes against the cable when you push the tool also thins the metal ring you're pushing on, so the connected rings will break if you push too hard with the tool. All better if you switch to a different product or

Great connections for the price

I needed to connect multiple security cameras. These connectors worked great and I feel like a pro. I took another reviewer's advice and split the connectors in half by unplugging them. This made them a lot easier to install as I could now see what I was doing as I plugged the cable into my head. First place the rear half on the wire, strip the cable, attach the pin, place the front half on the wire, attach the rear half and crimp. There were no instructions on how far from the cable to strip…

Beautiful and inexpensive. to Connectors & Adapters

Great product as the center pin is not attached to the body yet. This means that you can easily tell that the RG59's center wire is fully inserted into the pin and have no way of guessing the length of that wire. You must use RG59 wire as the pin size is the diameter of that wire. With an RG6 cable, the wire does not come into contact. Also, when cutting an RG59 cable, the cutter can often leave a burr on the center wire, making it unwilling to enter the pin. Good sharp wire cutters usually…

Great product, just make sure you use it properly!

These are great connectors and the cheapest on the internet as far as I know. For anyone having trouble making a proper connection I recommend removing the backing (rubber insert and metal ring) completely from the knot and placing it on the wire first then you can see exactly what you are trying to connect. carry out. Also, don't worry about the center connector being crimped - the assembly slides under the outer sheath which eventually presses the conductor against the pin for a solid…

Works well no problems

Just needed a few more hook ups to finish installing security cameras in my home. I had problems with C2G brand BNC connectors. Many of them worked, but I also had many that didn't work. I didn't want to spend a lot of money on expensive plugs when I just needed a few more. I decided to take a chance with them even though they have their fair share of bad reviews. I installed the first one on a spare cable to see how it would hold up. It comes with this little centerpiece that you put on the…
