I love this journal! Measuring 7"H x 5"W x 1"D, it's small enough to stuff into a backpack or a big pocket so that you can pull it out and write as the spirit moves you. I have purchased this faux-leather journal alongside another genuine leather journal and comparing them both may seem to be unfair. This I think is good for casual use and the flap on the right make it slightly inconvenient to be used as a travel journal. I don’t use this for journaling, but for solo games to jot down notes. For that it’s pretty good, though it’s stiff and sometimes uncomfortable to write in, but then, I don’t use it a lot, so it still very much has a "new” feel to it.It’s on the thick side, and comes with some extra stuff, like the ties, that are unnecessary for what I use it for. It’s otherwise okay, put together with nice, sturdy materials. If it loosens up after some more use, I’ll update my review.

I love this thing. Seriously. It's gorgeous and it'll be awesome to have around as a notebook for my writing. Only sad issue was that the bottom clip ring opener is VERY loose and I'm scared it may just.pop off? Hence the four stars. But it still functions, just is loud/rattling whenever I move since it's so loose. I'm pretty sure it's just a fluke on my specific journal. Definitely recommend the buy!

This is a great looking notebook. Nice size for carrying around. I replaced the blank pages lined ones. Just works better for my needs. I also added dividers and a pocket. This journal looks really great. the purple is deep and dark, the leather straps are great. Inside feels a little bit like a trapper keeper. Too many clasps and pages too small to write on (as a result). I'd say it's great to look at, but not incredibly functional as notebook/journal. Felt like a journal you'd give as a token, not as something you'd want them to write in. That said, it sure does LOOK terrific.

I got this journal as a gift for my daughter. I wasn't sure how she'd use it, so I liked the fact that it has a three-ring binder inside and the pages can be removed and replaced if she decides to change what she does with it. She thought the leather cover was pretty cool looking and liked that it has a strap to wrap around and hold it closed. I was impressed with the thickness of the leather and the sturdiness of the product in general.

The size is good and the looks are impressive. The paper and about was surprisingly high. As an unexpected benefit, the notepad held the A6 planner refill pages so i could double purpose as my day-planner too

Perfect for what I wanted to use it for! I love the aged like paper inside and the outside is a nice warm brown that reminds me of a travel log.

Bought this for my friend for his birthday. He frequently has dreams he wants to remember so I told him to start writing things down as soon as he wakes up. I especially thought he'd like it because of the nautical theme. He loved it!

I've been looking for a cool journal for d&d, this one is a handy size and looks fantastic. It's pretty decently made and it being refillable is cool. The cover is a bit stiff so the parts that bend could be prone to wearing out. It's good for the price
