💧 Malibu C Hard Water Hair Remedy Review

Lightened my hair to a coppery chestnut grey! I have very hard water - lots of red minerals build up in sinks and toilets. I thought it would be nice to remove this buildup from my hair. NOT RIGHT! I've read the packaging carefully to make sure it's safe for colored hair. It should be. Before using this product my hair was a beautiful metallic silver with dark blue roots. I have undyed natural blonde hair and well water. I noticed that my hair was starting to turn a very copper color. Thought I'd try that instead of using hair dye/toner. The color change is slight. I hardly notice it, but I'm not sure if anyone else will notice. I'm curious how it looks in natural light. One thing is for sure, my hair felt like SILK after using it. If you cut your hands, wear gloves as they will burn. I may or may not buy it again.

I really like this stuff. We have terrible well water; a lot of iron. After a while everything turns orange, including my hair. I had to use it a few times before I saw a difference but it did a good job of removing the discoloration and buildup from my hair. I overdid it a bit, used it too many times in a short period of time and dried my hair a bit. But it was easy to fix. I buy more, but I definitely buy shampoo and conditioner.

I have very high iron/mineral levels in my well water. As a result, my hair always looks dull and feels very dry. I color and highlight my hair (light brown/light brown). After dyeing, after a wash or two, the hair quickly loses its luster/shine and begins to take on a rusty-brownish tint. Yuk. :(I bought the Malibu shampoo and conditioner along with the hard water hair packs. I'm not sure if I see much of a difference with the shampoo and conditioner, but the hard water packs work really well!

Worked very well, not as advertised but I can see and feel the difference. I have dark hair with highlights. In the photo on the right you can see the difference: my hair is without styling products, just air-dried, it looks like a mop. My hair is left out after using Malibu C, even without any styling products, and you can see some curl and a nice color. I would still never go without styling, but would repeat this treatment, especially at this price point.

I heard about this product from the hairdresser "Manes by Mel" (Youtube) and she recommended it to me because it lightens the hair from the inside. It restores volume and life to your hair. It really works! My hair feels so light right after use. I have also used their scalp therapy and frizz treatment. The scalp therapy helps to soothe the scalp, but I haven't noticed any difference in curl texture compared to the hard water treatment. They all still lighten my hair and leave my hair soft and…

This product is amazing. My hard water has turned my light blonde hair yellow-orange. I have tried many treatments but to no avail. A home remedy made from a paste of baking soda, lemon juice, and crushed vitamin C pills didn't work.
