son loves it. I didn't notice that the hood is fastened over the face. It's not really necessary, but the hood is a good size and weight. Warm but not heavy at all. I would have preferred Reverse to Black but there was no Prime. Otherwise there are no complaints.

The dimensions are correct. I ordered the normal size my son wears as I knew the sizes listed are a little big but I wanted him to be able to wear them for more than one season. Definitely rubbery material feel. But he loves it!

My son loves the camouflage to blue transition, but he loves camouflage the most. Keeps him warm when he's playing with the dog outside.

The zipper on the first vest ordered broke in one day, parts of the zipper path literally fell off. I returned it and received a replacement which was already missing similar parts (brand new!) and there was no zipper. This item is of very poor quality. Save money and find a better vest.

This is not a "down" vest as the name suggests. Cheap polyester putty. Vest for $15 for $34.99. save your money The only nice feature is the kids color scheme.

Great for a 5 year old. Its height is 6 feet. Perfect fit for height. It just hangs below his knees. Another quality product from there.

It turns out too small. Bought one size and still too small! Order two sizes larger than expected and you can be satisfied.

My son can't wear this to school. He closes his face. I've never seen a jacket like this where the zipper lets it run around and scares grandma it'll fall off. So if you have a dumb kid, maybe there isn't a jacket for them

I ordered the vest at short notice as a Christmas present for my son. He likes it very much. It is of good quality and has a double-sided pattern that goes perfectly with almost any outfit. He is 6 years old, tall for his age but very thin.

When the jackets were tried on on both children, the zippers ended at the ends of the jackets' hoods (and covered their faces), allowing the children to breathe inside the hoods. I expect them to be back from holiday later this week and photos will be sent immediately.

The reason I bought this vest is because it is presented as down fill. This is absolutely not true, it is 100% polyester and the label attached confirms this. The material is very hard and quite heavy. Maybe that's a normal weight for such a filler, but it's sold as down, it should be much lighter. The size is at least one size smaller. Overall totally disappointed with this product.
