Good performance. This pump has the sight glass for the 96 models requiring oil fill. If 97 and newer you don't need to oil fill just install and use. On the 97 and newer models it gets oiled from the oil injection along with the other internal engine parts. Effective Polaris Replacement Assembly

Fits my 1997 Polaris Indy Ultra though.

This is a universal part for various years of Polaris snowmobiles. Because of this, it's not quite the same as the one I had in 1997, which didn't have a sight glass and fill/drain plug for the internal oil level. The 1997 model is self-lubricating, so it doesn't need topping up. Everything is fine, but the pump must come with a plug to fill the oil filler hole. If you need to add oil to the water pump on your snowmobile, you can use an old plug and plug it into this unit. However, if your old…
